    As Christians, having a biblical worldview is essential because it shapes how we see and interact with the world around us. It allows us to filter everything—our decisions, relationships, values, and even entertainment—through the truth of God’s Word. A biblical worldview helps us discern what aligns with God’s character and will, offering clarity in a world filled with conflicting messages. By grounding ourselves in Scripture, we can navigate life with wisdom, remain anchored in Christ, and live out our faith in a way that glorifies God and points others to Him.

  • Why Movies?

    We use movies as a tool for Bible study because stories have a profound way of connecting with our hearts and minds. Movies often reflect the struggles, triumphs, and complexities of life, offering a unique opportunity to explore how God’s truth applies to real-world situations. By learning to view these stories through a biblical lens, we can uncover glimpses of God’s character, His redemptive work, and His call for us to live with purpose and faith. This series helps us practice seeing God everywhere—teaching us to filter even everyday experiences through a biblical perspective and discover how His truth is woven into the fabric of all creation.

  • Community & Fellowship

    We created "Lens of Truth" to bring students and adults together for a summer of community, fellowship, and spiritual growth in a fun and unique way. By combining movies, shared meals, and meaningful discussions, we’re building a space where people can connect, deepen relationships, and explore the Word in an engaging and relatable format. This series is more than just a Bible study—it’s an opportunity to grow together, encourage one another, and discover how God’s truth shines through every aspect of life.

Movie Nights with a Purpose

Join us this summer for a unique experience! Do you love movies? Love shared meals with friends? Love digging into God’s Word? You’ll love this Bible Study Series!

Lens of Truth is a summer long cinematic bible study where we will be watching movies together and discussing the themes, stories and life-lessons and diving into what Scripture talks about in these movies.

So grab your comfy clothes, a blanket and some popcorn and join us this summer for an amazing experience!

Lens of Truth: Seeing God Through the Lens
Cinematic Bible Study Series

Join us this summer for an engaging and transformative cinematic Bible study experience! "Lens of Truth: Seeing God Through the Lens" invites you to explore how God’s truth can be revealed through storytelling in film. Together, we will watch a carefully selected movie, share a themed meal, and dive into meaningful discussions that draw out biblical elements, challenge us to see the world through a biblical worldview, and ultimately point us back to Christ.

🕔 5:00–8:30 PM
📍 Location to be determined

Here’s how the evening unfolds:

  • 5:00 PM: Arrival and fellowship over a delicious themed meal.

  • 5:30 PM: Movie starts (bring your blanket and comfy clothes to relax!)

  • 7:30/8:00 PM: Group discussion to unpack the movie’s themes and explore its connection to God’s Word. Some movies are 2.5 hours long so those nights we may go over.

What to Bring:

  • A dish to pass (meals and snacks will follow fun weekly themes!)

  • Your Bible, notebook, and pen for taking notes.

  • Comfortable clothes and a blanket to stay cozy during the movie.

RSVP Required:
Seating is limited, so please RSVP to secure your spot and help us plan accordingly.

What if I can’t make a Movie Night?

Every week is a stand alone bible study so come to one or come to all, or come randomly that is fine! Just make sure you RSVP each time you plan to come as we want to make sure there is room for everyone! If we have a group too large for our living room space, we will seek a larger space!

This is the perfect opportunity to grow deeper in your faith, connect with others, and view movies through the lens of God’s truth. Don’t miss out on this incredible summer series—we can’t wait to see you there!
