Victorious Spring Performance

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in the newness of life.” Romans 6:4

Jesus Christ- our Lord and Savior, who suffered a sinner's death to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. It was then on the third day that He would rise again, and what looked to be a lowly death to God’s Son, was instead a sweet victory that no other could succeed in. 

Life has a way of throwing many hardships across your path. We wanted this year’s theme to be a reminder of the ultimate victory that Jesus has, and that through Him we can also walk in everyday victories. And because of Jesus, we can be strengthened and hold ourselves differently than the world. 

We hope for our Chippewa Valley community that they would know as Romans 6:4 says, a “newness of life” through Jesus. That they will know that they can choose to walk and think differently, and that Jesus has given them authority to do so. We pray they know they have been redeemed and made whole because of Jesus’ victory, and through believing in Him, that they too can walk in this newness of life. 

Let this be a theme full of hope and celebration, that we be reminded that because of the Lord, there is victory in our life, despite the circumstances.
